Getting Started
War of Genesis: Idle Loot is a free-to-play desktop idle RPG on Steam (AppID 4891320): a 3D hero lives in a small window on your desktop, fights, and picks up loot on its own — even while you do something else. Gear drops constantly, and everything tradable can be sold on the Steam Community Market for real wallet funds.
The loop in three lines
- Leave it running. The hero farms the current stage automatically; loot piles up in your bag.
- Manage the bag. Equip upgrades, and send junk gear to the market or the forge (combine lower gear into higher).
- Price before you sell. Check the live board — the same drop can be worth $0.10 or $10 depending on tier and demand.
What to check on this site
- Market Board — every tradable item with its cheapest current sell order.
- Affix Finder — shop by stat family instead of scrolling the market blind.
- Item pages — each item's live price, sell-order depth, and nearby-priced alternatives.
Early mistakes to avoid
- Don't vendor or forge away everything — check prices first; even "boring" Tier 4 gear sometimes sells above flashier drops.
- Don't undercut panic-style: with few listings (some items have under 5), a patient listing often sells near the top.
- Watch bag space: when the bag is full, farming output is wasted.
